This experience lets you abseil down the rock face beside the waterfall, guided by experienced professionals who ensure your safety and comfort throughout your day. 🚩 BEGINNING — MEET & PREPARATION Your day begins when you arrive at the Mannakethi Ella meeting point in Kitulgala. Please arrange your own transport to this location before the start time. On arrival, our friendly and professional guides will welcome you, help you check in, and fit you with high-quality safety gear, including a helmet, harness, and secure rope system. You will receive a clear safety briefing so you understand the process and are confident before you begin. 📍 ABSEILING DESCENT After preparation, you will make your way to the top of the waterfall abseiling point. With guidance from your experienced team, you will descend the rock surface beside Mannakethi Ella, using the secure rope system. This controlled movement lets you engage with the natural surroundings and experience the waterfall setting from above and beside the cascading water. 🪨 WATERFALL WALK & VIEW Once you reach the base of the waterfall, our guides will lead you along the rock path beside the water, giving you the chance to enjoy the cool mist and scenic views of the waterfall up close. This section allows you to pause and take in the beauty of the location at a calm pace. 🧗 WALK BACK UP TO THE MEETING POINT After spending time beside the waterfall, you’ll follow a rock staircase path back up to the upper meeting area. Your guide team will support you as you return on foot from the base of the waterfall to the starting point. 🍽️ FINISH — COMPLETE YOUR EXPERIENCE Once back at the meeting area, you can change clothes and freshen up in the provided facilities before finishing your day.
